Thanking God on Friday

**I am thankful that Baseball Season is OVER. I am a football gal 100% and can not find myself getting interested in the Major Leagues. I usually only pull for the Red Sox [and that's mainly just because that's who the husband likes to watch], and since they weren't in the series this year, I was bored with it. And now it's over. THANKFULLY!

**I am thankful that we live in Florida. Not that I truly like Florida, in face I'm quite tired of it, but I like that we live AWAY from family. I love our families dearly, but I love that we have our own life, with our own friends, and our own stuff without any of them being around constantly to nag and complain give us their parental wisdom and insight.

**I am thankful that Josh has made his mind up as to WHAT he wants to do with his Coast Guard career. This is a choice that has been heavy on his mind and my heart for a while..and now he's made a decision. One that's NOT going to take him away from us for almost 4 months next year; one that will make him higher rank and more money faster; and something that he truly enjoys doing.

**I am thankful for my role as wife and mother. I get frustrated almost everyday sometimes because I feel like I don't always receive the 'praise' or 'thanks' that I feel like I deserve, but God reminds me more and more each day that I don't do this because I want something out of it, I do it because 1)HE says I should and 2) Because I love my family and want them to be happy and healthy, no matter what I get out of it.

**I am thankful that God never leaves me.I hit my rough patches every few weeks where I feel like I am alone and that no one else is around or can help me. But he's always there. He never fails me. He never leaves me alone. For that, I couldn't be happier.
