The Simple Woman's Daybook-July 20

'Outside my window: Finally some sunshine! It rained all morning.
I am Thinking: Of the things I want to accomplish this week...about to pull out the notebooks and start writing.
I am thankful for: The wonderful birthday weekend that I enjoyed this past week...a wonderful husband, a forgiving father, and the cutest little boy ever that I get to call my own :)
From the kitchen: Spaghetti!
I am Reading: "Bad Mother" by Ayelet Waldman...a must read for anyone who has ever been a stay-at-home mom.
I am praying: For guidance, patience, and God's Will in so many different areas of my life.
Around the house: Aside from Noah's toys strung all the way across the living room, things are pretty tidy. Mine and Josh's comforter is in the washer waiting to be dried, and I swept and mopped my overly Apple Juice sticky floor a little while ago.
One of my favorite things: Rocking Noah while he sleeps before I put him down for his nap. His little hand gripping his blankie and the other usually knotted up in my hair...nothing better than that.
A few plans for the rest of the week: Finish adding a few self-made things to my new planner, some more blog posting, house cleaning, and meal planning. Should be a productive week. Also trying to encourage the husband to actually USE the blog I made him and the journal I bought him...Wish me luck with that!

I love the Daybook posts! What planner did you end up getting? I love a planner. Like I said before I have to save for that one I really want. Happy belated...did you do anything fun?
