Home Makeover Project

Home Makeover Project
This is going to be the biggest, most costly project but definately worth the trouble. When Josh and I got married, all of our furniture was handed down and borrowed. I am on a mission now to have all new furniture by the time we relocate next year. Furniture we want and have purchased ourselves. I've also got an idea of how I am going to decorate our next house and so my decorating needs are listed as well
(Living Room)
  • New Couch and Loveseat
  • New Coffee Table, End Tables and Entertainment Unit
  • New TV (Ours doesn't even work right now)
  • Bookshelf (I have tons of books boxed up and no where to put them)
  • Barstools (we have a bar in the living room, but nowhere to sit!)
  • Blow up and frame 8x10 and 11x14 photos of Noah
  • Fix curtains for window (we have an ENORMOUS 140"x 8' window/sliding glass door and nothing to cover it right now.)
  • Ceiling Fan
  • New pictures to hang on the walls

(Kitchen)

  • Curtains to hang over the window
  • Rugs for the floor
  • New Table and Chairs
  • Photos to hang and decorate with

(Our Bedroom)

  • FURNITURE! (We have none and are sleeping on a mattress on the floor right now)
  • New comforter, sheets, curtains, throw pillows
  • I would really like a big, overstuffed chair for our room
  • New TV
  • Entertainment Stand
  • DESK! (I am dying without my desk to scrapbook and write...)
  • Anything to decorate with (my walls are so bare)

So far this is all that's needed. I know it seems like so much, but I am an organization and decorating guru. Our house is beautiful and our furniture does us very well right now, so this is just an outstanding project that is going to take time to complete. Josh and I just had to move and get furnishings for a house in less than a month and we did the best we could. It's time for us to buy some nice pieces and have things that are going to last and that we want to keep for a while. I'll keep you updated as this project gets underway. It shouldn't be very long before we get to kick it off since Josh is starting his new job in the next few weeks.
